For families

Research guidance

A transparent recommendation derived from an official classification record.

01

Positive messages

Constructive themes or examples.

The film can support discussion about responsibility, consequences, empathy, resilience and how characters respond to pressure. Families can compare constructive and harmful choices, consider how relationships and community expectations influence decisions, and talk about the cultural context of contemporary Indian cinema. Where the story is still sparsely documented, these themes should be revisited after viewing rather than assumed from publicity alone.

02

Negative behaviours

Conduct that may need context.

Parents should be prepared to contextualise supernatural scares, frightening imagery, comic insults or awkward situations. The rating notes do not claim undocumented scenes, and the absence of a separately verified issue is not proof that every scene is free of mild profanity, romance, smoking, alcohol, frightening imagery or upsetting dialogue. For pre-release or lightly documented titles, promotional genre labels can understate or overstate the intensity of the finished film.

03

Topics to discuss

Conversation starters after viewing.

Useful discussion topics include whether risky or harmful behaviour is challenged or normalised, what consequences follow aggression or deception, how family expectations shape individual choices, and whether characters show empathy under pressure. Parents can also discuss the difference between an official CBFC classification and this editorial age recommendation, particularly when evidence remains incomplete.

Final recommendation

Our family-viewing take

Recommended from about age 16. The strongest current concerns are supernatural scares, frightening imagery, comic insults or awkward situations. The verified CBFC classification is UA 16+. This is an editorial family-viewing recommendation based on the evidence available on 12 August 2026. For younger viewers, or when the film is still unreleased or poorly documented, waiting for fuller official or post-release content information is the safer choice; shared viewing is useful near the suggested threshold.
